Dr James Torode

James graduated with Honours from the University of Melbourne 15 years ago.

 

After graduation, James worked in dairy mixed practice in country Victoria and New South Wales. He then moved to the Mornington Peninsula and subsequently metropolitan Melbourne to focus on companion animal work.

 

James returned to the Box Hill Veterinary Hospital in 2015 after several years working as a locum veterinary surgeon around Melbourne.

 

James is a committed small animal clinician with a strong medical focus. He takes a particular interest in medical cases involving endocrinology (hormones), neurology (Nervous system) and analgesia (pain relief) and geriatrics (elderly patient care).

 

James is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) as well as the Small Animal Veterinary Association ASAVA) and Welfare and Ethics (AVAWE) special interest groups.
